The old city of Montreal created a perfect backdrop on a sunny and warm Thursday afternoon.The Masmidim Bochurim feasted their eyes on what was to be seen, the beautiful sights, the cobbled roads and the old stone houses.

Their stomachs were full after a hearty meal at Pizza Pita which consisted of 2 slices, fries and a drink for each Masmid. The trip of dreams had started off with an all out game of paintball shooting, which pitted counsellor versus camper in the ultimate test of aim and resilience. Shot for shot they took on each other, with the winner having boasting rights for the summer. All dusted and counted campers were able to walk away with their heads held high.

After the old city, the hot weather was put on the backburner as the Masmidim braved the more chilly surrounds of an ice skating rink. Balance and acrobatic abilities were needed to survive and come out being able to say that they had conquered the skating rink.

Stomachs rumbled after so much hard labour, and the smell of a barbecue just added to the problem, but on this occasion the barbecue was meant for them. And boy did they eat. Those manning the barbecue were only just able to keep up to the demand. Thus passed Thursday 26^th of Tammuz for Masmidim in CGI Montreal 5770/2010.
