Once again campers greeted shabbos after being treated to warm-homemade-jumbo-chocolate-chip-cookies and warm potato kugel.

Throughout shabbos the spirit was great! As per directives for when Tisha B’av is a “nidcheh”, the entire shabbos had an additional Simcha- flavor added. The Seudos were quite lively and meaningful; as the head counsellor shared inspiring words throughout. Lots of niggunim related to the imminent-geulah were sung with great feeling.

The kitchen staff outdid themselves with an amazing pre-fast shalosh seudos including shnitzel, kugel, chicken salad, challah rolls and more. Wishing all an easy fast!

Congratulations to the winners of Shabbos competition, bunks:  Hey, Yud Daled and Yud Ches!

After a full day of non stop activity – the basketball court was set up with bleachers full of excited campers in anticipation of  another in house entertainer. The fascinating tricks done with fire were quite risky and entertaining. Eventually a unicycle was added to the show – with camp volunteers causing blasting cheering from the audience. The light rain held out so that all could enjoy the show till the end.

Grade 5’s section B were called back down to the section C dining room after preparing for bed. A lively and exciting Ice cream party was enjoyed by all, with a variety of flavors, syrups and sprinkle toppings. A unique program followed,  before campers headed to bed.
