What a day! The entire camp was out on trips!

The day began with our prestigious Section C campers heading out for an exciting day of adventure. To accommodate space limitations, the section was divided into two groups. One group took on the thrill of an exhilarating white-water rafting excursion, while the other challenged themselves on an exciting high ropes and obstacle course.

The boys returned full of excitement, eager to share stories of the incredible experiences they enjoyed. IYH, next week the groups will switch, giving everyone the opportunity to experience both unforgettable adventures.

Meanwhile, our younger divisions A, B, & B+ headed to Aquabounga, located on the shores of beautiful Tremblant. This unique floating water park features slides, trampolines, climbing structures, and countless opportunities for fun on the water. The weather could not have been better! Under bright, sunny skies, the boys enjoyed a refreshing day of jumping, sliding, swimming, and laughing together.

First In-House-E & Online canteen deposits

Shabbos Yud Beis Tammuz was uplifting and inspiring. Mishnayos Baal Peh participation was through the roof, every seudah turned into a lively farbrengen, and our dedicated staff farbrengened throughout Shabbos together with our special guest farbrenger, Rabbi Hus.

On Sunday night, all departments enjoyed our first in-house entertainment of the season, featuring an incredible acrobatic show that kept everyone amazed.

This afternoon, all departments are out on exciting trips—details and pictures to follow!

As previously posted, canteen funds can be replenished online at any time. If you make an online deposit, your son will be notified within 24 hours with the details of his deposit.

To add funds to your son’s canteen:

  • Log into your registration account at https://cgimontreal.campbrainregistration.com.
  • Click “View My Registrations.”
  • Select “Add Campers, Sessions and Options.”
  • Your current session will already appear in your cart.
  • Click on the session your son is attending.
  • You will then see the available options to add canteen funds (make the payment in the same currency as the canteen charge.)

Welcoming the First Shabbos / Yud Beis Tammuz

Section C returned from an amazing first trip of the season to Bounce in Montreal! The boys came back full of excitement and energy and enjoyed a delicious dinner of hot dogs and fries before jumping right back into the camp action.

Camp leagues got off to a fantastic start, with exciting drafts, team caps, and plenty of spirit! The competition is on, and the sports excitement has been nonstop.

Mazel Tov to Rafael Yosef Pekar on celebrating his Bar Mitzvah here in camp, surrounded by his family and friends. We wish him and his family much nachas and continued brachos!

Plans are in full swing for an incredible first Shabbos and Yud Beis Tammuz in the Rebbe’s camp! We are excited to welcome Rabbi Hus from Montreal, who will be spending this special day with us and farbrenging with each department of camp.

And the fun continues! The weather couldn’t have been better, and the excitement keeps growing. Sports, boating, and waterfront activities have been nonstop, keeping everyone busy and energized.

Off to a great start in the Rebbe’s camp

It’s hard to believe that we just arrived yesterday! B”H, all buses from New York, Montreal, Toronto, and the airport arrived safely, and CGI Montreal has officially begun another amazing season.

A delicious grilled cheese lunch was served upon arrival before campers headed to the shul for bunk assignments and settling into their new home away from home.

Learning classes began later in the day, as campers and teachers got to know one another while beginning what promises to be a season filled with meaningful growth and learning.

This morning, campers and staff woke up well-rested and ready for the first full day of camp. The lakefront and sports fields have been buzzing with activity under a beautiful sunny sky!

Bunk and class lists were emailed to all parents. Family members can now send emails to campers and staff using the bunk number included in the email. To help us manage the volume of correspondence, please limit emails to 3–4 per week.

B”H, it has been an amazing and smooth start to what promises to be a wonderful summer in the Rebbe’s camp. We look forward to many exciting days ahead!
