What a Grand Trip it has been! The excitement, energy, and camp spirit were felt every step of the way! Section C enjoyed an absolutely incredible two-day Grand Trip packed with adventure, fun, and unforgettable memories! The trip began with a full day at La Ronde, enjoying the rides, thrills, and nonstop excitement. Afterward, the campers headed to their hotel, where a delicious restaurant dinner was delivered right to them.

The next morning started with mikvah, davening, and learning, bringing a beautiful and meaningful start to another action-packed day. From there, the adventure continued with thrilling jet boating at the Old Port, followed by a cruise ride with lunch and plenty of singing, dancing, and camp spirit!

The fun continued with bowling, followed by a well-deserved pizza dinner at Cavendish Mall. Finally, after two jam-packed days of adventure, learning, spirit, and incredible experiences, Section C returned to camp—exhausted, exhilarated, and filled with memories that will last a lifetime!

Meanwhile, the rest of camp had an incredible Grand Trip of their own at La Ronde! Campers enjoyed the rides, thrills, and attractions, with plenty of screams, laughs, and nonstop camp spirit. After a full day of fun, everyone enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner before boarding the buses and heading back to camp.

Two Grand Trips, Color war, countless memories, and an incredible amount of camp spirit! What a week!

And now, as the summer is quickly coming to an end, plans are already well underway for our final Shabbos of camp. We are looking forward to one more beautiful, meaningful, and unforgettable Shabbos together in CGI!

Color War reached its incredible climax with the much-anticipated Grand Sing! Every camper came dressed to match his team’s theme—one team bringing the excitement of an orchestra, while the other portrayed Yidden leaving Mitzrayim. The incredible costumes and attention to detail added so much color and energy to the evening!

The Grand Sing was filled with tremendous chayus, toichen, creativity, and, of course, plenty of humor! After days of songs, learning, speeches, comedy, and fierce competition, it was the perfect culmination to an unforgettable Color War.

The evening ended with an explosive breakout announcing the Grand Trip to La Ronde!  The excitement was unbelievable as campers celebrated the incredible news!

And now the Grand Trip is officially underway!

While Section C is enjoying the second day of their incredible Grand Trip in a Montreal hotel, the rest of camp loaded the buses and headed out for their own Grand Trip!

The excitement is being felt everywhere, BH! The energy is through the roof as campers and staff head out for an unforgettable day of fun, adventure, and Achdus!

The moment everyone had been waiting for has finally arrived—COLOR WAR!

After campers were told they would have to redo their amazing kumzitz because it had not been properly recorded, everyone gathered together, dressed in their white shirts, ready to practice and recreate the incredible evening.

But then came the surprise! As the campers began singing, the staff suddenly added the words “COLOR WAR!” to the song—and the excitement exploded!

The teams were divided, the generals made their grand entrances, and just like that, Color War was officially underway!

The two teams, Shlucho and Kemoso, are now completely immersed in the competition, giving it their all with songs, comedy, Mishnayos Baal Peh, theme speeches, and so much more. The camp is filled with incredible energy, creativity, and nonstop Color War spirit!

And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Today brings the annual visit from the inflatables, and campers are already eagerly looking forward to an afternoon of jumping, climbing, aiming, competing, and nonstop movement! It’s sure to be another action-packed afternoon at CGI!

What an Incredible Night at CGI!

The fun just keeps coming at CGI!

Grade 5 was treated to an awesome Make-Your-Own-Pizza Mivtzah Event! Campers got to create their very own pizzas, choosing their favorite toppings, along with delicious sides of crispy fries, nachos, and refreshing milkshakes. It was a fantastic food-filled experience that everyone enjoyed!

After the pizza event, Section B took to the field for their exciting All-Star Game, showcasing incredible talent, sportsmanship, and plenty of camp spirit!

Last night Section C had their much-anticipated Grand Kluger Event, showcasing their immense amount of knowledge and learning in an exciting and spirited competition. The campers demonstrated just how much they have accomplished through their hard work, preparation, and dedication to learning!

In the meantime, the rest of camp headed up the hill for an unforgettable overnight! Campers and staff got busy building their very own homemade tents, followed by a delicious barbecue dinner under the open sky.

The evening became even more special with a visit from Leibel Lazarov, who entertained the campers with his personal inspiring story and song, sharing his personal miraculous, story in a way that had everyone listening and enjoying- and learning from the life lessons he shared.

Of course, no overnight would be complete without marshmallows around the fire!

The evening came to an incredible finale with an amazing fire show performed by our talented staff, lighting up the night and leaving everyone cheering!

And what could have made it even better? A clear, starry sky overhead! It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable overnight at CGI!

A Meaningful and Festive Shabbos Moshiach at CGI!

Shabbos Moshiach was truly festive at CGI, with the theme of Moshiach woven throughout the entire Shabbos. Campers enjoyed inspiring stories, songs, skits, and learning about Moshiach throughout the day, creating a beautiful and uplifting atmosphere.

Once again, CGI was honored to have Rabbi B. Mockin join us and enhance the Shabbos seudos in all the dining rooms with traditional songs and beautiful divrei Torah. Rabbi Mockin also led a meaningful staff farbrengen throughout the afternoon.

Motzei Shabbos brought another night of nonstop activity! B+ enjoyed an amazing Schnitzel Event, while Section C had a hilarious and comical Judgment Night, filled with plenty of fun and camp spirit.

And where was Grade 5 during lunch today? Enjoying their very own special Mivtzah event! The campers were treated to an incredible menu featuring pizza, fries, milkshakes, and nachos—a menu fit for our amazing Section B! It was a fantastic afternoon filled with delicious food, great energy, and plenty of camp spirit!

And a special Mazel Tov to the winning bunks of the Shabbos competition: Daled, Ches, and Yud Daled!

The excitement continues as we head into another action-packed week at CGI!

Our Grade 5 campers and staff enjoyed an unforgettable full-day adventure exploring Canada’s capital city of Ottawa. From sightseeing to exciting attractions, the day was packed with fun, friendship, and great memories!

Meanwhile, back in camp, Section C reached an exciting milestone as they completed bunk war, and preparation for their spectacular Grand Sing. Campers showcased their creativity and talent through original songs, costumes, comedy, and dramatic performances, all presented with tremendous enthusiasm, teamwork, and camp spirit. It was a truly unforgettable evening for everyone involved! Another super successful bunk war!

As another amazing week comes to a close, preparations are already underway for a very special Shabbos Mevorchim Elul here in the Rebbe’s Camp. We look forward to an inspiring and uplifting Shabbos for all!

Good Shabbos!

There is never a dull moment at CGI, with every section enjoying another unforgettable day packed with adventure, excitement, and camp spirit!

Grade 6 set out for an exhilarating white-water rafting adventure, tackling the rapids with enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of excitement. It was an incredible experience and undoubtedly one of the highlights of the summer!

Grade 5 continued one of CGI’s favorite traditions with their annual La Minerve kayaking trip. Campers paddled through the beautiful waterways, alternating between traveling one way by kayak and the other by bus. The outing concluded with a fun-filled game of mini golf, making for the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Back in camp, Section C is completely immersed in the excitement of Bunk War. Campers have been hard at work preparing original acts, composing songs, mastering Mishnayos Baal Peh, and giving their all as the competition intensifies. The anticipation is building as everyone prepares for tonight’s highly anticipated Grand Sing, where creativity, effort, and teamwork will take center stage.

The excitement at CGI has been absolutely nonstop!

Section C started the day with a beautiful lakefront breakfast, setting the stage for another unforgettable day in camp.

Section B+ enjoyed an incredible kayaking adventure to La Minerve, where the campers had a fantastic time playing mini golf before alternating between the bus and kayaks for the return trip.

Campers and staff gathered for a meaningful outdoor staff play, beautifully portraying the dramatic story of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s escape from Russia, bringing this inspiring chapter of our history to life.

The evening continued with an amazing, lively concert featuring Berel Fraiden. Following the concert, Section C enjoyed a private kumzitz, which culminated in the exciting breakout of Bunk War! The anticipation quickly turned into incredible excitement as the campers officially launched into what promises to be an unforgettable competition.

Afterward, the staff enjoyed a special meat event followed by a warm and uplifting kumzitz with Berel Fraiden.

Meanwhile, Grade 6 is heading out on their exciting grade trip, while Section C is now fully immersed in an intense and spirited Bunk War.

The action has truly been nonstop, and every moment has been an absolute blast!

After Another Amazing Shabbos, the Excitement Continues!

Following a beautiful and inspiring Shabbos, the action continued with another fun-filled day at CGI!

On Sunday, Section C headed out to Montreal’s famous Tag E Karting for a day packed with nonstop activities, excitement, and fun.

Meanwhile, our youngest campers in Section A enjoyed an exciting trip to Clip ‘n Climb in Laval, where they climbed to great heights and had an incredible time!

Section B enjoyed a special Poke Bowl Event, while Section B+ had an exciting Burger Event. Both events were professionally prepared by their dedicated staff as a special reward for the campers’ hard work and commitment to keeping up with the Mivtzah. The evenings were filled with delicious food, great spirit, and exciting programming enjoyed by all!

All sections came together for a special Chof Av Schnitzel Dinner, expertly prepared by our Chef Levi Golomb together with his amazing team. It was a delicious and memorable evening for all!

Last night’s in-house E brought the entire camp together as campers cheered, participated, and volunteered throughout an incredible performance. The crowd was amazed by the incredible stunts, jumps, and athletic displays of the talented Chicago boys, who put on an unforgettable show for everyone!

We were honored to welcome Rabbi T. H. Gurary from Montreal, who graced CGI with his presence and spent the night farbrenging with the staff. It was a meaningful and uplifting Chof Av experience for everyone.

Plans are already underway for a very special Chof Av Rally in front of our very own 770 building. The excitement continues!
