Grade trips have now been completed! Grade 6 had an amazing Trampoline trip and returned to camp for a delicious late chicken dinner. Section C was divided in half between a challenging Rope course and paintball shooting. The grade 7 bochurim will alternate next week with the same two outings iyh.     The entire section returned to camp to enjoy their very own special barbecue.

Sports had taken off to a great start!  All sections had their sports drafts and all leagues are not intensely involved in the various sport activities they are assigned.

The Hatomim events have also kicked off really well-and the boys are thoroughly involved in keeping up with their missions.

We look forward to greeting parents and visitors on this upcoming visiting day, Sunday, July 10. Reminder: visiting hours are 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm.

Grades 3 and 4 returned to camp all excited about their amazing trip! The boys enjoyed the trampolines and climbing the indoor park had to offer.

Last night sections B and B+ (grades 5 &) each had a special event with the launch of their new Mivtzah. The boys are enthusiastic about keeping up with all the hachlotos included in this project.

Today grades 6 and section C are heading out on their very own grade trips.

Grade 5 returned after an incredible grade trip. The boys enjoyed bowling, and lazer tag in Laval Quebec. They returned late to enjoy our delicious Shawarma Dinner along with all the trimmings.

Here in camp, leagues are off to a great start-with some great sports games in every field. Learning classes are off to a great start BH!

Boys have been calling home daily-during activities. Please look out for an unfamiliar call coming in.

The weather was picture perfect! All the fields, boats, and water equipment were buzzing with excitement and activity through the day! The entire grade 5 were the first to enjoy our newly lined indoor pool as a special night activity!

Grade trips begin today – each grade is treated to its own trip – with campers of their grade only. Today, Monday we begin with grade 5 (section B) with all sections to follow iyh.

Calling activities started yesterday – with calls coming from an 819 number. please look out for it throughout the week iyh.

CGI welcomes Rabbi Shalom Ber Cohen to the CGI Family. Rabbi Cohen farbrenged with the staff throughout the auspicious shabbos. All the seudos and classes were infused with a special chayus and chassidishkeit throughout Shabbos.

Under a sunny sky, campers are enjoying another wonderful day of sports and water activities.

Camp is off with a bang! Campers are enjoying sports, water activities and amazing learning classes. Section C had their first outing – to Trampolining followed by pizza dinner in Montreal’s Cavendish mall. The entire camp enjoyed the first in house entertainment last night.

The staff was given a special training last night. CGI thanks Rabbi Ringo for coming from Montreal and sharing his professional advice with all of us. Rabbi Ringo stayed late into the night, answering any questions that came up.

Have a great shabbos.

Smiles were seen on the excited faces – as campers arrived at camp. They enjoyed exploring our wonderful grounds – new to many – since we have not been here since 2019! Everyone is thrilled to be back home bh! Campers enjoyed a quick breakfast followed by the division of bunks – a bit of settling in – and a delicious grill cheese lunch. Sports took off to a great start, as we are eagerly waiting for the serious league drafts taking place later this week. An early lights out is planned for all our tired campers – after travelling all night. Bunk and class lists will be sent by email tomorrow. Please use your son’s bunk number to send emails to him – through our website.

And the action continues. After a smashing color war the grand sing was a huge success.

All campers and staff was proudly outfitted in the costume of his team. Team Are’nu were farmers, and team Pla’os were Arabs. The huge gym was bursting with energy, spirit, songs and niggunim.

Early this morning the buses were loaded for the grand trip to six flags. Section C will iyh meet the rest of camp, as they are in the middle of their two-day trip. Lunch was served upon arrival at the park and campers are anxious to enjoy the thrilling rides. The local Pizza shop will be delivering pizza and fries for another specail supper after Mincha iyh.

 

The last in house-E ventriloquist entertainer was enjoyed by all, as we all tried to figure out “just how did he say that?”

Color war plays, “mishnayos-bal-peh”, scavengers, great songs, are what your son has been busy with! The action-packed week has taken campers from one excitement to the next. As we prepare for an incredible grand scene tonight, section C has packed out of camp early this morning for their grand-two-day trip.

Section C had an amazing bunk war. Last night’s memorable grand sing was lively, exciting, and full of toichen!

Our hardworking staff were treated to a well-deserved break – with a lavish brunch at the local “Sauce and Cheese” restaurant! They were welcomed warmly with an abundance of food and great fun!

Color war is here! The names of the teams are “Ploas” and “Arenu” with Menachem Wagner and Elchonon Perlstein as generals! Camp is buzzing with excitement as campers are enjoying the new songs, plays, and comedy throughout the day!
