Our huge backfields were transformed into several scenes in Cracow. All the hidden talents of our amazing staff came to life, with the building, painting back drops, creating costumes, and acting out the suspenseful-annual-staff-outdoor-play. The silent audience enjoyed the incredible acting as well as professional sound and lighting. The suspenseful play depicted the importance of Emunah and Bitochon combined with the constant Hashgocha Protis in every scene.

At a late hour, all campers returned to their bunk with lots to discuss, internalize and analyze. Everyone was treated to a late reveille this morning, to be well rested for the big day ahead iyh.

All divisions of camp were treated to a special activity. Every camper and staff member decorated and painted his own CGI shirt. The activity was creative, enjoyable, and gave each camper amazing results. Campers were seen proudly wearing their new piece of art.

Grades 4 and 5 were treated to their special barbecue events – beautifully prepared for them by their counselors and head staff. A great time was enjoyed by all.

Mazel tov to Yaakov Wenger from Montreal upon his Hanochas tefillin, celebrated here in camp with his father and friends. Lots of Nachas to the entire Wenger family.

After a breezy sunny day of great sports and activity, all sections of camp joined in the gym for our annual concert. Shlomo Simcha sang along with Bensimon’s lively music. The interactive concert had campers and staff, singing, dancing and enjoying the incredible atmosphere!

We enjoyed another uplifting Shabbos, with lots excitement throughout all the Seudos- stories, niggunim, camp songs etc. Seder niggunim was also quite special as each section of camp mastered a new niggun – patiently and meticulously taught to them by a group of learning teachers.

Motzei Shabbos came in with lots of action including a special waffle/ice cream event for all grade 6 campers that partook in the Mivtza throughout the week. Section C campers were all treated to a special late night, for each bunk, including French fries parties, Slurpee trips and more.

Sunday morning, the staff were treated to a lavish breakfast of lox-cream cheese-bagels, pastries, omelets, variety of coffees and yogurts. Great appreciation was shared for their amazing tireless work.

After much anticipation and preparation, the trip to the Rebbe was an extraordinary experience for all. The entire camp walked through the Rebbe’s Ohel, with Panim, and then headed to 770 for Mincha and a brief rally. Campers and staff returned to camp inspired with an increased feeling of connection. It was an uplifting trip for all.

Rabbi Meir Rodal, Mashpiah in Oholei Torah and Chovivei Torah, farbrenged with every section of camp following the special visit to the Rebbe. Campers, Section C Bochurim, and then staff were each addressed accordingly, climaxing an already moving day.

The one bus of Section C boys that did not make it (due to bus issues) are off this morning for their special trip to the Rebbe. They left bright and early considering traffic etc.

CGI is honored to welcome Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum to share inspiration with campers and staff alike throughout Shabbos. Looking forward to another amazing Shabbos here in the Rebbe’s camp!
