Our first Shabbos in camp was quite special! The farbrengens enjoyed at the Seudahs were lively, uplifting! Follow the Friday night Seudah campers voluntarily joined a chassidishe frabrengen lead by learning-director Mendel Gurary.

Throughout the day on Shabbos, there were several farbrenges and lots of a mishnayos bal peh going on.  Rabbi Wagner’s farbrengen with the staff continued till the end of Shabbos. Section C were divided into clubs; where each were enjoyed the different activity prepared for them.

Motze shabbos, section C had their official sports drafts preparing them for some very serious sport leagues starting today iyh!

We are excited to welcome our newly expanded inflatable water park to our lake front! The excitement is felt by staff and campers of all ages, as each one is awaiting his turn to have his first jump at it! Our new park shares our lakefront with the amazing selection of boats; hosting a nice amount of campers at a time.

Under sunny skies, there was nonstop action. All sections have had their intense sports drafts, and campers were given their color coded caps to represent their CGI leagues. Sport leagues took off with some great plays throughout the afternoon.

Last night, after lights out, our staff were visited by Rabbi Ringo from Montreal. In an open and comfortable conversation, Rabbi Ringo trained and briefed our staff with safety prevention ideas, to help provide our campers with the most amazing season. Thank you Rabbi Ringo for taking the long drive up and for sharing your experience and expertise! Following the training, the staff were treated to a special erev-shabbos-chulent-kugel-event. A great time was had by all with a feeling of tremendous achdus.

Looking forward to our first amazing Shabbos here in The Rebbe’s Camp iyh!

Good Shabbos.

Welcome to summer 2018. Please check in with us daily for an update of some the excitement here in camp.

Things took off to a great start BH with campers enjoying their new bunks, classes, and lots of friends. Parents have all received an email with the bunk lists and numbers. Feel free to send your son an email through our site (up to 4 a week) using your son’s bunk number. You can also contact his counselor or teacher by email. Emails are distributed daily. Although the sections in camp are by grade, each section has an additional name.  Grades 3-4 are section A, Grade 5 is section B, Grade 6 is section B+ and grade 7 is our well known section C!

We welcome our Masmidim that joined us yesterday from Yeshiva in Toronto; along with their Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Wagner. These bochurim are an amazing example to all of us!

Although we were only one day into camp, Section C already enjoyed an amazing trip to Asoutee trampoline park followed by a pizza dinner in the Cavendish mall food court in Montreal.
