Following a heartfelt staff banquet last night, the day has arrived!  The emotions and excitement are in the air! The last day of camp! Finalizing sports leagues, kluger (learning) championships, getting in line for the prize store, canteen refunds, and starting to pack- are some of the things we are busy with today.

Once the packing is done, campers will head to the shul for the first part of the banquet, followed by a festive, catered, Schnitzel meal prepared by our amazing chef-Menachem Hayes and his staff.

The traditional ceremony of color war winner announcements – did not disappoint our campers. The excitement was enjoyed by both teams as generals and judges were dancing in the lake!

The last Shabbos of camp was extremely special, with lots of singing, farbrenging mishnayos bal peh, seder nigunim and of course shmaryonke.

 

Motze Shabbos each department enjoyed a special event, prepared for them by their very devoted staff. The late night was followed by a delayed revile this morning.

 

Mazel Tov to Shalom Ber Shor from NMB Florida, upon his Hanochas Tefillin- celebrated here in camp with his family and friends.

 

Preparations are under way for the banquet ceremonies- starting with the staff banquet later tonight and full camp banquet on Monday afternoon.

Buses were loaded with excited campers heading to Montreal’s six flags La Ronde amusement park. The campers enjoyed the rides till closing time and met outside the park for Mincha and delicious pizza and muffins before heading back to camp.

Our hardworking staff were once again treated to a late-night appreciation event. A lavish barbecue was enjoyed by all!

All departments of camp were treated to a late revile this morning, after a few invigorating, exhausting and exciting days! Campers are anxiously waiting for the lake- front-ceremony-color-war-winner-announcement, later this afternoon.

Plans are underway for a very special Shabbos-sadly the last Shabbos of this most amazing summer!

Gut Chodesh and Good Shabbos

Color war has come to an end! After an extremely lively, funny, and “toichendike” grand sing, campers were treated to an early revile this morning.

After a special Rosh Chodesh davening and breakfast the buses were loaded – heading towards Montreal to enjoy the grand trip of the session!

In the meantime, section C has been enjoying their two-day grand trip in Montreal. They enjoyed ice skating, bowling, special meals, hotel accommodations, and lots more. Section C will be meeting the rest of camp at six flags La Ronde!

Color war is here! Both the red and blue teams are enjoying the intense competition expressed through songs, spirit, mishnayos bal peh, plays and of course hysterical scavengers.

Last night campers enjoyed the “toichen” and entertainment expressed in both plays, portraying the theme of the teams אב אחד and  גוף אחד.

Early this morning, Section C headed out on their grand two-day trip in lovely Montreal city – with many stops along the way- details to follow.

Campers are enjoying the last day of color way today, culminating with the grand sing tonight.

Shabbos Mevorchim Elul- a very special Shabbos here in the Rebbe’s camp. Thanks to a generous sponsor, special Danishes were enjoyed by all that partook in the Shabbos Mevorchim Tehillim!

Sunday turned out to be a great day for activities, with lots of sports and water activity! Bunks were rewarded with tubing rides while others were off to La Belle for a runaway breakfast.

Section C played their playoff games in the well-lit, La Minerve city- baseball field; followed by a picnic dinner in the city center.

Last night, campers and staff were once again entertained by a great in-house entertainer. Hypnotist Ronny worked his magic with the volunteering staff, serving as great entertainment for all.

After a bit of a rainy day many bunks were treated to special late nights last night, following night activity! Always a great treat!

Section C returned late last night after their outing to the most amazing clip n climb, followed by a special pizza dinner in the Cavendish Mall.

This morning, our hard-working staff are off to the world-famous Mont Tremblant to enjoy the beautiful resort, including the “luge” mountain ride, and a lavish brunch. The staff will alternate in two shifts so that everyone has a chance to get out, while our campers are well cared for.

Before Shabbos, Section C will be having their Mivtzah event, prepared for them by their hard-working staff.  An array of hors D’oeuvres and cholent will be served.

Plans are underway for a special Shabbos, Shabbos Mevorchim Elul. Once again, a generous sponsor has sponsored extra Danishes to encourage the campers to say as much Tehillim as they can.

Good Shabbos

Section C enjoyed an incredible Chayal war. All three plays were performed and prepared by the campers-quite an accomplishment. They were also busy with Mishnayos bal peh for their teams as well as songs and overall chayus!  Last night- a grand, grand sing took place in the section C zal. Of course, all campers and staff were dressed in costumes! The chayus and toichen were amazing. Campers had a bit of a late night, wondering just who won the war!

In the meantime, grades 4 and 6 had their trips yesterday to the amazing Clip N” Climb. All grades thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of climbing and scheming in this amazing Place!  Grade 4 left earlier in the day and returned for camp’s supper of meatballs, spaghetti, green beans, salad and cantaloupe; while grade 6 had a picnic dinner before returning to camp!

Section C was given a well-deserved late revile today in preparation for an amazing trip today!

Section C is heavily involved in their “Chayal (bunk) war”! The bochurim were divided into three teams, “Chossid”, “Yirei Shomayim” and “Lamdon”- depicting the three directives to strive for. The themes are being expressed through speeches, songs and plays; with the climax at the grand sing taking place tonight!

Grade 5 had an amazing trip yesterday to “clip & climb”! Following the amazing obstacle course of climbing and balancing, the boys enjoyed a lavish picnic dinner before returning to camp.

Grade 6 campers were rewarded with their very own special breakfast event. The hardworking campers partook in the Mivtzah activities taking place throughout the season.

And of course, everyone’s favorite – sports, sports and more sports! Leagues are heavily involved in their teams’ accomplishments and enjoyment, with great sports throughout the day!

Chof Av was celebrated as befitting the auspicious day that it was. A rally was held in front of our very own 770- with Torah, Tefilla and Tzedakah performed by all!  The spirit was amazing!

After an early dinner of breaded chicken, couscous and cole- slaw, campers headed to the shul. The shul was beautifully set up for our in house- concert held by Fitche Benshimon! The singing and dancing were magnified when the camp songs came on! Of course, candy and glowing wands were distributed; and a grand time was had by all. Campers headed to the dining room for Mariv, leaving the shul to section C to enjoy their very own concert!

Last night, when all was still, our hard-working staff were treated to a grand steak dinner – royally prepared for them by the head staff!

Section C is hard at work enjoying their bunk war- day 1 today!
