Bog war is here! Campers and staff are deeply involved in their teams’ themes, through song, plays, minshnayos bal peh and tons of spirit.

The three teams are:

למען ילמדו

למען ישמעו

ושמרו לעשות

Wishing lots of Hatzlacha to all three teams!

As the buses pulled up to six flag La Ronde, we were notified that the park is closed due to a power outage!  No warning and no apology- just an obvious Hashgacha Protis!

Our emergency response team was put into action, and trips were arranged for all departments of the camp within minutes.

Sections A and B (grades 4 and 5) went bowling and laser tag followed by a pizza dinner.

Section B+ (grade 6) went paintball shooting followed by pizza dinner.

Section C (grade 7) went Jet boating, followed by a trip to Walmart followed by a pizza dinner.

BH all sections returned to camp after a great trip day!

After a great, sunny, breezy day of lake and sports activities, the hardworking staff were treated to their very own staff trip! The staff returned rejuvenated after a grand axe throwing experience followed by a lavish barbecue.

In the meantime, the entire section C gathered in the basketball court to watch and cheer on their intense all-star game! The boys had voted for candidates previously and were excited to watch the action unfold.

This morning, campers were woken bright and early. After Shacharis, breakfast and line up, the campers excitedly loaded the bus for the grand trip of the session!  Details to follow.

Shabbos Mevorchim Menachem Av was appropriately celebrated with lots of tehillim, nigunim and learning. Thank you to the Karnowsky family for sponsoring the special “tehillim Danishes” for all campers and staff, in honor of Shmuel Karnowsky.

Grade 5 had a special breakfast event, professionally prepared for them by their staff, with a guest chef Sheinberger, brought all the way from NY to share his perfect eggs and hashbrowns with all! A great time was enjoyed by all.

Section C had their very own lakefront barbecue last night, while the rest of camp was enjoying a fireside overnight. After they enjoyed their crispy hot dogs and burgers, great stories and song were shared – round the rising flames.

Mazel Tov to Avrohom Raskin from Florida, upon his Hanochas Tefillin celebrated here in camp with his family and friends.

It has been nonstop action! Between the intense all-star games, section C special event, staff appreciation “staffe” last night and of course amazing activities and learning, CGI is ready to close up on an action-packed week and preparing for a special Shabbos here in the Rebbe’s Camp.

Good Shabbos!
